Peter Pollock and Shaun Pollock are two of the brightest stars of South Africa. Peter Pollock is a former South African cricketer who is also called a pooch. He was awarded The Wisden Cricketer of the year award in1996. He has also served as a selector for the South Africa Cricket Team.

Apart from bowling, he was also a proficient lower-order batsman, who added important runs to the team’s scoreboard. Shaun Pollock is a former South African bowling all-rounder who was also the captain of the side across all the formats from 2000 to 2003.  He was the Wisden Cricketer of the year in 2003. He holds the record of the only player to score two Test centuries batting at number 9 position.
