AB de Villiers is known to the world as an Explosive and a Hard-Hitting batsman, but now fans will get to know the other side of AB as his auto-biography is going to hit the stores in a very short span of time.

The long awaited autobiography is delayed by almost a year because AB wanted a perfect product for the readers and he took his own time to explore his creative side apart from playing his creative and unconventional shots. The book will be launched on September 8th by the publishing house ‘Pan Macmillan’ in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, & India.

The book will contain excerpts from his childhood days where he grew alongside his sports freak brothers in Warmbaths, South Africa; where he outsmarted his counterparts and excelled in various sports and received various accolades in games such as swimming,rugby, badminton. The book also contains key aspects of his journey from being a Rookie and eventually transforming himself into a modern day great where he worked with many mentors. AB also has inserted some of the controversies he was involved in as he wants the readers to know that his auto-biography is nothing but an honest effort in enlightening his fans with the other side of him. The book will also dig into AB’s taste in music and his business ventures which he manages them alongside playing those ramp shots for club and country.

The publishing house has lauded AB on his past 11 seasons where he never missed a single test for his nation showing his passion and dedication for the game.

AB debuted for South Africa back in 2004 and has never shied away from the game. He has led teams in various formats for both club cricket and for the National Team where leading South Africa to the Semi-finals of the 2015 World Cup was his most celebrated moment. AB has scored 18184 runs in all the 3 formats combined for the South African National team. AB also holds the World Record for the Fastest ODI hundred which he scored against the West Indies.
