After topping the ODI run charts of 2017, Virat Kohli has now topped the list of Yahoo’s Top 10 most searched sportspeople from India. The sensational Virat Kohli has been in phenomenal form this year and 2017 has been arguably one of his most successful years in international cricket. The second on the list is Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Virat Kohli is the leading run scorer in ODI cricket with 1460 runs from 26 matches at an average of 76.84. He also has 5 triple-digit scores in test cricket (3 double test centuries and 2 centuries) to go with.

Mithali scored 7 consecutive ODI fifties this year and became the first batswoman to complete 6000 ODI runs.

Gautam Gambhir sits on the No.4 slot. Gambhir has done some amazing philanthropic acts. He promised to bear the expenses of martyred CRPF Jawans’ children in April. Gautam Gambhir’s foundation has started a free community kitchen in West Delhi in July.
