While a lot has been spoken about Rohit Sharma and his maiden double, there hasn”t been a greater focus on Rahane. The Indian southpaw scored his 11th century and saved the game from what would have been a collapse.

Reeling at 39/3, Rohit and Rahane added a 200+ partnership, thus accelerating the total to another level. Rahane”s innings of 115 included 17 boundaries and one six. What”s interesting here is the pace with his he added a greater value with Rohit. He was picking up the gaps easily and kept adding boundaries to his account.
