The Bhosale Cricket Academy are on a roll in the Cricfit Premier League (CPL) as after emerging as the under-12 champions last night, the senior boys of the Under-14 category have thumped the Cricfit Academy down under in an absolute one-sided affair to avenge as the Champions in the Under-14 category. The 25 over Final played at the Thakur Cricket Ground in Kandivali saw Bhosale Cricket Academy beat the Cricfit Academy by a huge margin of 82 runs.
It all started at the toss as Bhosale Cricket Academy won the toss and elected to bat first. Opening batters Harsh Darji and Ayush Patil gave Bhosale Cricket Academy a flying start as they finished at 39/1 at the end of 6 overs. Post which Harsh Darji and Tanish Shetty lost their wickets in quick succession which then brought Laksh Shinde at the crease who played a vital knock of 27 runs taking the score to 170 at the end of 20 overs.
Aaryan Kumar was the pick of the bowlers from Cricfit academy as he picked up 2 wickets for 10 runs in his 4 overs spell.
Bhosale Cricket Academy Clinch The Under-14 Title Against Cricfit Academy in CPL
In the aftermath, Alizar Siddiqui was the only batter from Cricfit Academy amongst the runs as the side was bundled out for just 88 in the chase of 171 resulting in Bhosale Cricket Academy winning the final by a whopping margin of 82 runs marking the 2nd Championship for the Bhosale Cricket Academy after their emerged victorious in the Under-12 department last night.
Harsh Darji of Bhosale cricket academy was awarded the man of the match award for his all-round performance with both bat and ball.
