England announces ODI Squad & This Star Player Returns To the Squad

The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have announced a full-strength ODI squad that will face the Australians as part of the Ashes limited-overs leg.

The 16-man squad includes the duo of Ben Stokes and Alex Hales and their participation solely depends on how the events unfold in the coming weeks in relation to the Bristol incident on September 25, 2017.

All-rounder Stokes is currently in New Zealand playing for Canterbury and he would be keeping a tab on the judgment to be given by Crown Prosecution Service.

The squad led by southpaw Eoin Morgan is effectively the same that lined up against the West Indies in September which England won 4-0. The only addition is Mark Wood who missed out earlier due to a heel injury.

The five-match ODI series set off on January 14, 2018 at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground and culminates on the 28th at WACA Ground, Perth.

Squad: Eoin Morgan (c), Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow, Jake Ball, Sam Billings, Jos Buttler, Tom Curran, Alex Hales, Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, Joe Root, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, David Willey, Chris Woakes, Mark Wood
