Former Champions Rajasthan Royals return to 2018 IPL

The 2018 edition will see the return of two old franchises Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings. Both franchises were for 2 years due to a match-fixing scandal. Without these two teams, the Indian Premier League looked incomplete. Rajasthan Royals was owned by Manoj Badle is happy to his franchise back in the Indian Premier League season 11.

Rajasthan Royals were the winners of season 1 in 2008 beating Chennai Super Kings. They did not qualify for knockout stages till 2012. In 2013 and 2015 they reached the playoffs stages. The franchise had some top players like Shane Watson, Yusuf Pathan, Munaf Patel, Sanju Samson, Ravindra Jadeja, Rahane, Steve Smith and other top cricketers.

Rajasthan Royals anthem is Halla Bol. It was a great journey for Rajasthan Royals having Rahul Dravid their player and coach. It is going to be nice to watch which top players would they retain for 2018 edition of Indian Premier League.

The fans are excited about our return in the 2018 edition of IPL. Other IPL teams wished both franchises for their return in this edition. In the Indian Premier League, MS Dhoni has been the star of CSK and has led them to 2 titles.

“Our fans have shown tremendous excitement about our return and we couldn’t be happier. We hold them in utmost regard and are so glad to see their enthusiasm,” Manoj Badale, who has been the lead owner of the Rajasthan franchise since its inception, said in a statement.

Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings are hoping to see their heroes watch, and win matches. It promises to be an exciting season 11. The fans love to create the same magic in their home crowds.
