England and Australia will battle for the Ashes 2017/18 series starting from 23rd of November. England is the defending Champions of the Ashes that they won in 2015. It is going to be a tough ask for the visitors England to beat Australia in their own den.

England will be without Ben Stokes which is a great loss for the visitors. It promises to be a mouthwatering clash between these two strong teams. The Australian team is also struggling at the present moment in test matches. When England visited Australia last time for the Ashes in 2013/14, Mitchell Johnson ripped England batsmen and clean sweep series 5-0.

This time England will be led by newly appointed captain Joe Root. England has a good team but they need to play well in bouncy conditions. Before the Ashes series, the visitors play 3 warm-up matches.

The Australian team needs to play aggressive cricket if they have to reclaim the prestigious Ashes. David Warner, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc and young players must play aggressive cricket to trouble the England team. Australia lost a test match to Bangladesh.

While England has also top quality players like Alistar Cook, Joe Root. They have good all-rounders with Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes. There are few young players named in the squad. James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Steve Finn. Chris Overton, Mason Crane, Jake Ball, James Vince needs to step according to the situation.

The Ashes is one of the prestigious series in cricket. England has left for Australia and hoping to come back on his debut captaincy in Ashes series with the title.
