Indian Pacer Nathu Singh gifts his father a house with his IPL money

Indian cricketer Nathu Singh who impressed everybody with his pace and accuracy bagged a whopping amount of Rs 3.2 crore from a base price of Rs 10 lakh. He has faced all troubles in life before he was bought by the champions Mumbai Indians in the auction for the 2017 edition of the franchise based tournament.

Nathu is a native of a small village called Murlipara in Rajasthan. His father used to work in a wire factory and it became tough for him to continue with Nathu’s cricket and he never allowed his financial constraints to be a barrier for Nathu in fulfilling his dream. Nathu also devoted all his life to fulfill his father’s dream.

He started bowling with the tennis ball and eventually took admission in a cricket academy where the fees were very high. The Academy subsidized his cricket fees keeping in mind the background he is from. The coaches of the academy also saw a rare spark in the pace bowler and by the end of that year, he got selected for the Rajasthan u-19 squad.

The senior cricketers from the Rajasthan team have helped him a lot providing him with spikes and other cricketing gears. Nathu in an interview said, “Deepak bhaiya [Chahar] and Aniket bhaiya [Choudhury] helped me a lot.”

He also earned heaps of praise from the Australian legend Glenn McGrath when he in MRF Pace Foundation. “The coaches have also told me I am god-gifted. There is no need to work on me,” he further added.

He got his major breakthrough when he was selected in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2015. He drew everybody’s attention with his impressive line and length and pace.

Nathu who used to live in a mud house has asked his father to stop working now. He recognizes the effort that his family has put in and now wants his family to live happily. He has decided to build a luxurious house for his family worth Rs 1.5 crore so that his family doesn’t have to live in poverty again.
