IPL 2018: England fast bowler Tom Curran replaces Starc in Kolkata Knight Riders squad

Mitchell Starc, who injured his right leg ahead of the fourth test against Southafrica is expected to return home for a scan after the test and the CA has already informed on his chances of availability for IPL 2018. Tom Curran is all set to replace injured Mitchell Starc in the KKR camp for IPL 2018.

The 23-year-old English right arm fast bowler Tom Curran has represented in 16 International matches across all formats and picked over 21 scalps. He will be aided by Davangere express Vinay Kumar, and young Indian bowlers Kamalesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi.

Responding to it, Tom Curran also expressed his excitement to join the team ahead of the cash-rich league which is all set to begin on April 7.

KKR is completely involved in its promotional activities ahead of the season as most of the players reached the camp. Captain DK and Vice-captain Robin Uthappa were seen in most of the promotions that have been revolving in the social media for the past 24 hours.

KKR will start their campaign against RCB on April 8 at Eden Gardens. The IPL Kickstarts on April 7, 2018 as MI lock horns with CSK at Wankhede.
