IPL 2018: Twitter hails Kane Williamson & brutally trolls Mumbai Indians

Sunrisers Hyderabad won a low scoring thriller against Mumbai Indians by 31 runs. This is now the second lowest total to be defended in IPL history.

Opting to bowl first, Mumbai Indians did a wonderful job to reduce the star-studded batting lineup of Sunrisers for just 118 runs. Williamson and Pathan scored 29 runs each, being the highest scorers for them.

Right from the start, Mumbai looked so inconsistent in their chase. Lewis and Ishan weren”t able to make an impact on the scorecard. Though Suryakumar and Krunal batted well, it couldn”t stop them from an embarrassing defeat.

The middle order yet again failed as Rohit and Pollard displayed poor batting performances at home.

Hardik “s poor finishing skills cost the game for Mumbai as he scored just 3 runs off 19 deliveries and this slow inning from the no:7 batsmen came out of the box.

It is to be noted that Bhuvaneshwar and Billy stanlake weren”t a part of the squad. Nabi, Sandeep Sharma, Basil Thampi and Kaul bowled beautifully along with their spin heads Shakib and Rashid to clinch two vital points for the team.

Rashid ended with figures of 2/11 while Kaul”s scalps played an integral role in scripting the win.

Twitter went crazy as Mumbai Indians lost the match on mentor Sachin”s birthday.

Though it trolled Mumbai brutally, a lot of wishes poured on Kane Williamson who led his team to victory without frontline bowlers :
