The Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is having a dream run with both bat and ball and credited all his success to his former captain MS Dhoni and current India team skipper Virat Kohli.

Reportedly, Jadeja became the no 1 ICC Test all-rounder after his all-round performance in the second test against Sri Lanka in Colombo where he scored a quick fire 70 runs in the first innings and ending with seven wickets including a fifer in the match. He swept past Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan to gain the top position for the first time.

Jadeja, who is also the top ranked ICC Test bowler, gained nine places in the batsman’s list to be at the 51st spot.

After his impeccable achievement, Jadeja took to Twitter to acknowledge those who stood beside him. He posted, “My humble journey 2 be #1 Test AllRounder & bowler was possible due 2 @msdhoni @imVkohli, my fans & family #bcci #icc #teamindia #rajputboy.”

However, Jadeja will miss the third test against Sri Lanka starting from August 12 in Pallekele due to one match ban by ICC for accumulating six demerit points in the last 24 months.
