Navdeep Saini might feature in India’s Test squad later this year in Australia. The Indian cricketers are currently busy in IPL 2020 which will be played till November 10.

Also, all-rounder, Hardik Pandya is yet to renew bowling after recovering from back surgery. He may also not find a place in India’s Test squad against Australia.

Now as per several reports speedster Navdeep Saini may get his maiden call up in the longest format of the game. In the last few years, Saini has impressed everyone with his talent to bowl fast and trouble the best of batsmen.

As a result, he’s been a vital part of India’s white-ball setup in recent times. Saini’s dream of representing India in the toughest format of the game may come true during the much-anticipated Test series in Australia.

Coming back to Hardik Pandya, recently former India pacer Zaheer Khan had pointed out that the all-rounder is not yet equipped for Test cricket.

Zaheer who is part of the Mumbai Indians franchise in IPL 2020, feels Hardik should as of now only play white-ball cricket. Hardik in the ongoing IPL is only playing as a specialist batsman and hasn’t even bowled a single over.

“His [Pandya’s] body can’t take the longer version at the moment, he is fine for the shorter versions though. He has changed his bowling action and is being monitored by former Indian pacer Zaheer Khan at the Mumbai Indians franchise,” the source said as quoted by Indian Express.

Furthermore, Navdeep Saini will be handy on the bouncy tracks of Australia as he will extract bounce and pace which will be an asset. The fast bowler is currently playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2020.
