Pat Cummins had a good start to his second match in IPL 2020 after having a forgetful match against Mumbai Indians. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to bat first against KKR in Abu Dhabi in match 9. Cummins struck for Kolkata early as he dismissed Jonny Bairstow for just 5 off 10 balls.

Both teams, SRH and KKR come into this game on the back of defeats in their respective campaign openers. While SRH lost against RCB, Kolkata went down against Mumbai.

Meanwhile, SRH skipper David Warner is chasing a personal milestone. He is 75 away from getting past Rohit Sharma as the leading run-scorer against KKR in IPL.

Warner was out in a rather unfortunate in their first game against RCB. However, he seems determined to get a good score this season.

Meanwhile, SRH is the first team to bat first after winning the toss in IPL 2020. With all the talk about dew becoming a factor in the game and captains opting to chase to negate the impact of due, six matches out of the first seven have been won by the team batting first.

The ball pitched on a good length and nipped back to disturb the woodwork of Bairstow. Interestingly, the SRH batsman had a decision turned down against him just before the ball he was dismissed. Here is the video of Bairstow’s dismissal.

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad are in all sorts of trouble after losing both their openers. They have struggled to get going and find the boundaries. With 61 for two in 10 overs, Hyderabad will require some bit hits to post a challenging total.
