Indian off-spinner Ashwin”s promotional video for Nike”s running shoes literally took a turn in the social media.
Ex-South African batsman Gibbs replied sarcastically, that Ashwin would run faster with these brand new shoes on. The conversation took a turn when Ash replied Gibbs mentioning his controversial match-fixing allegations in the year 2000 in their tour to India.

It is noted that the Ex-SA captain Hansie Cronje was charged by the Delhi police for fixing the ODI series against India in March 2000.Gibbs was also a part of these charges as he was asked to get out under 20 runs for an amount of $15000.
Ashwin mentioned in his tweet “ethical mind not to fix games which put food on my plate.”
The spinner posted the following tweet
Gibbs then mentioned that Ashwin as not in a good spirit to take the joke. Ash, on the other hand, said that his jibe was a joke but everyone else took in a different way.

Moments later Ashwin deleted the fixing jibe tweet and put up another tweet clarifying his tweet.
