The India batsman Robin Uthappa was blessed with a baby boy on 10th of October and the new father took to social media platform to share the news with fans and followers.

The Kolkata Knight Riders cricketer had to miss the Karnataka Premier League to be with his wife Sheetal Gautam who was expecting a child then. “I’m not playing KPL for basically two reasons. One is Sheetal and I are expecting our first child and we are really excited about it and the Domestic season begins next month so I want to spend as much time as I can with her because I would be leaving soon for the Domestic circuit and I would be only back in time for the birth of the child,” Uthappa said earlier.

“Secondly, I want to spend time working on my fitness and health. Like everyone knows it’s a hectic domestic circuit, we play back to back. I want to make sure I want to go through the whole season staying fit and injury free so that I can build momentum and play really well,” the Saurashtra cricketer further added.

A delighted father used hashtags such as ‘two becomes three’ and ‘Batman vs. Joker’ to welcome the newest member. The couple named their new baby boy Neale Nolan Uthappa. He posted a picture with the baby alongside his wife, and wrote, “Our bundle of joy has arrived!! NEALE NOLAN UTHAPPA? thank you for all the love and support!! #whentwobecomethree #batmenandjoker”

Interestingly, Pakistan’s wicket-keeper-batsman Kamran Akmal also became a proud father today for the third time when his wife gave birth to a baby girl. He also took to Twitter to inform his fans about the news. He wrote, “Alhamdulillah I m blessed with a baby girl again Allah has open the doors of his Rehmat again on me feeling blessed,” along with a picture where he was seen with the newly born baby along with his other children’s.
