South African speedster Dale Steyn hasn”t been on the field for some time now. He played the first test against India in January but couldn”t finish the match as he injured his heel during the run-up.
He last represented a full test match in the 2016 series against Australia, where the safaris clinched the series 2-1.
Meanwhile, this gun was spotted bowling in the nets for the Hampshire camp. It is to be noted that he signed a deal with the county franchise in the month of April. Colin Munro and Mujeeb ur Rehman will also be a part of the squad for the vitality T20 Blast.
In his long break, Steyn was seen roaming across Bali and several other tourist spots. He constantly kept updating his pics in his social media and followed entire domestic and international schedules. Steyn wasn”t a part of infamous Australia series as he failed to clear his fitness test.
Reports suggest that Steyn is eyeing to grab the spot in the home test series against Sri Lanka in the month of July. The squad for the same is expected to be out later this month.
