These two Indian players have been inducted into World XI squad at Lord”s

The squad for the World XI who will be facing Windies in a T20I fundraiser are being announced by parts since last week.

A total of six players have been announced till now. Shoaib Malik, Afridi, Thisara Perera, Rashid Khan, Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal will be a part of the world XI which will be led by Eoin Morgan.

Reports suggest that Indian players Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya are the latest additions to the squad. Dinesh is currently leading Kolkata franchise in the Indian Premier League. His lightning wicket-keeping skills, Powerful hitting down the order will be a treat to watch out for in the Lord”s ground.

Hardik, who is going through a rough patch in the Mumbai Indians camp will also feature in the World XI squad. Hardik who is known for his innings of 79 against Pakistan in the ICC Champions trophy finals will be looking to continue his fine touch in English pitches.

The world XI squad is looking formidable with the likes of hard-hitting all-rounders and explosive openers. It will be interesting to see how the players glue up to give better funds for the renovation of stadiums in west indies. The match will be played at Lords on May 31.

It is to be noted that Windies squad had been announced a few days back. Russell, Gayle and Lewis are a part of the squad who will be lead by Carlos Braithwaite.
