In 62 T20Is he has amassed 1589 runs at a strike rate of 128 runs and will be hoping to cement his place for the next year’s T20 world cup in India. Talking about his Test career, Dhawan has 2315 runs to his name and has scored 7 centuries in the toughest format of the game.

On top of that, he holds an impressive record in IPL as he has always been amongst the runs in the biggest T20 league. As Dhawan celebrates his 35th birthday we take a look at how his current and former teammates wished him on Twitter.
