VIDEO: This is how Mark wood celebrated Rayudu’s century with his Durham mates

Chennai Super Kings have announced their comeback in style after a two-year ban and qualified to the playoffs for a record ninth time in the history of the Indian Premier League.

Mark Wood, who just played a single game for the franchise returned home for the series against Pakistan. He is currently playing the country cricket for Durham and is expected to join the English squad before May 24 at Lord’s.

Meanwhile, it seems like wood is having a close look at the happenings in the IPL. He along with his Durham teammates were seen singing a song for the star opener Ambati Rayudu. They added a bit of flavour to the lyrics which goes like “When I see Chennai, I know I’m on my way. I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough…all the things you do to me and all the things you say, I just can’t get enough, I just can’t get enough. Because when you cut and drive I just can’t get enough of Du Du Du Du Du Du…Ambati Rayudu”

This video was posted on the official Facebook page of Chennai Super Kings. “Brother Mark”, as wood is fondly called by his fans at Chennai will be aiming to come out all guns blazing against the Pakistani side along with Broad and Anderson. Wood also proved his worth as a handy lower order batsman as he scored a fifty against New Zealand a month ago.

It is to be noted that Ambati Rayudu played a vital role in the eight games that Chennai had won till now and is certainly looking for more. He scored his maiden century in the match against Sunrisers at Pune last week. It will be interesting to see how can he make an impact in the playoffs.

Chennai will be playing Delhi at Kotla on Friday. Though the result of the match doesn’t make any difference in the standings, Delhi will be looking to clinch a victory to boost their morale.
