The left-arm fast bowler from Pakistan Wahab Riaz is one of the deadliest bowlers in the world but his inconsistency and injuries have been a barrier to his success. Recently he was involved in an incident where he missed his bowling run up five times in a row which left his national team coach infuriated.
The incident took place in the 111th over of the Sri Lankan innings in the second test match at Dubai. Wahab, who was trying to get back his rhythm, missed his bowling run up five times consecutively.
In a video posted on social media, Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur was seen upset after seeing this incident. He stood up and went back to back to dressing room agitated. Wahab was trending on social media and was made fun of several times.
However, the 32-year-old pacer retaliated back by taking three wickets to derail the Sri Lankan innings in a fiery spell.
