India’s great captains and current member of the Indian team Mahendra Singh Dhoni made his ODI debut in 2003 against Bangladesh. He was dismissed for 0 in his debut match. In the match against England played at Margao on 3rd April 2006, MS Dhoni was young.
James Anderson bowled the 49th over the innings. It hit the pad of MS Dhoni and went to the keeper, hitting the stumps as MS Dhoni ran 2nd run as the keeper tried his level best to run out.
MS Dhoni called Suresh Raina for the 2nd run and was achieved easily. India posted 294 for 6 in 50 overs. England was bowled out for 245. Since then MS Dhoni has contributed so much to Indian cricket with his cool mind to finish games.
He resigned from captaincy in ODI and T20I this year. In 2017, MS Dhoni scored 788 runs in 29 matches ( 22 innings) with the best score of 134 against England.
With the 2019 World Cup to be held in England, MS Dhoni can run fast with young Indian cricketers and has a cool mind to show his class with the bat. His ability to convert 1 into 2 makes him a great cricketer.
MS Dhoni has led India to many great heights. This includes winning the inaugural World T20 in 2007, captaining and winning a World Cup for India after 28 years, Champions Trophy title in 2013. He has also led India to number 1 in test matches.
The former Indian captain has the experience of playing many matches for team India and will play a key role in helping team India to play well in World Cup 2019. The selectors have said that there is nobody like MS Dhoni and would do anything to win another World Cup.
