While the Indian fans walked back home disappointed, the Pakistan cricket fans felt the had earned the bragging rights on Sunday.
One”s moment of joy had become another”s nightmare. Until now, Indian fans had been taking a jibe at the Pakistan fans with mauka-mauka memes and jokes on social media, so much so that even Indian legend Virender Sehwag mocked the Pakistan team and fans by tweeting that India was their father in the game and they were the chip off the old block.

It was that, and finally, moment for the Pakistan fans as they felt this was the best way to give it back to the Indian fans, however, a certain Pakistan fan went a step further when he took a dig at the Indian team as they were heading back to the pavilion post the presentation ceremony.
As the players were walking back, a Pakistan fan from the crowd made fun of the Indian team, this after he passed some nasty remarks at each one of them. As Kohli was walking he began shouting, “Kohli akkhad toot gayi hein teri”. Even as Kohli ignored the remarks, he then started shouting “Baap kaun hein, baap kaun hein” (who is the father now?) – Mohammad Shami was not the one to take this lightly as he walked back and confronted the fan, just the Dhoni intervened and took Shami away, however, the Pakistan cricket fan showed no remorse as he justified his remarks to his fellow countrymen in the crowd.
