The ecstatic under 19 skipper has shared his video of trashing the Kolkata and Rajasthan bowlers during his vital knock of 62 and 47. Prithvi, in turn, became the youngest batsman to score maiden half-century alongside Sanju Samson.
In the match against Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Daredevils won by 55 runs thanks to Iyer’s heroics who played a skipper’s knock on his first assignment.
The video shared by Prithvi Shaw in his Twitter handle included few of his best boundaries played in the match. He also posted a clip of his helicopter shot off Mitchell Johnson that replicated a bit of MSD ‘s style.
It is to be noted that the present under 19 players who won the world cup in NZ are receiving accolades for their performances in IPL. A couple of days back, Shubman Gill was appreciated for his vital half-century against the super Kings when he was promoted up the order.
Prithvi scored 65 runs in the ongoing match against the Sunrisers and it will be really interesting to see how DD keep their hopes alive.
