Rohit Sharma has given Ritika, perhaps the best gift a husband can give to his wife on a wedding anniversary. Now he is the only man on the earth to score 3 ODI double tons.
After a disappointing outing in first ODI as India”s skipper at Dharamshala, “Hitman” had his tasks cut out. He needed to step up to avoid what could have been the most embarrassing series defeat. And he did not disappoint!
Getting off to a slow start, Rohit started to crescendo in later stages of his innings. He brought up his 16th One Day International ton in 115 balls after which he just went berserk. At one stage of his innings, he had hit 7 sixes in 8 balls which propelled his strike rate drastically. It helped him reach his next hundred in just 36 deliveries. It was also his 50th score of 50+ for India in ODIS. He finished on 208* off 153 balls with 13 fours and 12 sixes.
Throughout his innings, his sweetheart Ritika was praying from the stands. Rohit kept on kissing his wedding ring and giving flying kisses to Ritika after reaching milestones like 100, 150, 200. And what more? It was their second anniversary! Surely, the Sharmas will never ever forget this day!

Ritika is a sports event manager and used to manage Rohit”s schedule. Soon friendship turned into love and they decided to tie the knot. Their engagement took place on June 3, 2015, just after Rohit won his second IPL title as Mumbai Indians” captain. Rohit and Ritika got married on December 13, 2015. Let”s wish them lots of love!
