Every cricket fan dreams of meeting his cricketing idol at least once in his life, get an autograph signed and click a photo with him. However, not everyone is fortunate enough to get this privilege. The simple gestures of signing autographs and clicking pictures with fans could be a lifetime memory of them. Some cricketers are not so generous, however, captain Virat Kohli is not one of them.
In the recently concluded series against New Zealand, Kohli was seen signing autographs and clicking photos with small kids without fussing too much about security. A twitter handle named @ImNsamy posted a video which is going viral on social media where Virat is seen obliging kids with autographs.
In the video, Virat Kohli was seen signing autographs for kids in a wheelchair. This gesture will surely win hearts and make Virat’s haters think differently. Known to be aggressive on the field, he has got a very kind heart when he is not playing.
Talking about this Virat Kohli said, “I don’t want to disappoint children when I see them because someone can get inspired at some stage and do something productive. “I always look forward to signing autographs and do pictures for the kids but then the add-ons come along and it gets a bit difficult. But for kids, I always stop,”

India now plays Sri Lanka in 3 tests, 3 ODI and 3T20Is in a series starting on November 16. After that in January, they tour South Africa in perhaps their toughest cricketing assignment in 2 years. Kohli who has been playing non-stop cricket off late is expected to get some rest in limited overs series against Sri Lanka to keep himself fresh for South Africa tour.
2017 has been a very successful year for Kohli with the bat. This year he has scored 1406 runs in ODIs at an average of 76 with 6 hundred.
