Virat Kohli honours senior journalist R Kaushik for covering 100 Test matches

The Indian Cricket Team is high on confidence after their win against the host in Galle and looks to continue their good form in the second test in Colombo starting from today. Virat Kohli made a touching gesture when he presented a Team India jersey to one of the most admirable journalists of the country for his greatness in the field of sports journalism.

R Kaushik, the Managing Director of Wisden India is scheduled to cover his 100th test match which will be starting from today in Colombo. Known for his exceptional analysis and easy writing, the writer has had a million numbers of readers including the players. During a press conference on Thursday, Virat Kohli presented this stalwart with a team jersey for his outstanding achievements.

After presenting him with the jersey, the team India skipper was quoted saying, “It is a great achievement and I think you are one of those who truly understands the game, not looking for any masala, and I am really happy to present this Indian jersey to you and I hope you continue with your good work.” Kohli also applauded his dedication towards the game and wished him for his future.
