Rishabh Pant has been an outright entertainer right since the 2018 India’s tour of Australia. From his one-liners such as ‘Come On Ash’ to singing ‘SpiderMan Spiderman,’ the Delhi boy has managed to entertain his fans in the most intriguing fashion. The youngster played two memorable knocks during India’s tour of Australia wherein at Sydney he almost took India across the borderline while at Brisbane, he managed to steer India to a consecutive Test series win in Australia.

In the followup, Rishabh Pant followed his sensational form as he started off the home series against England with a 91 run knock in the first Test and then a 58 run knock in the 2nd Test where India beat England by 317 runs as the spinners shared all the 10 English wickets in the second innings.

This also brought to an end England’s six-match winning streak in Asian conditions. The hosts thus are back in level-terms in the four-match series at 1-1. Ravichandran Ashwin was awarded the Man of the Match for his all-round performance.

With seven wickets required to win the game on day four, a charged-up Indian team took the field under Virat Kohli’s leadership. Ravichandran Ashwin took the first wicket as it started a procession. Wickets fell at regular intervals with the Indian spinners making it increasingly difficult for the English batters to score runs. It was more about survival than scoring the needful runs for them. Moeen Ali top-scored in the second innings with an 18-ball 43 with wickets falling at the other end.

Talking more about Rishabh Pant and his contributions for the Indian side in the 2nd Test, the wicket-keeper inflicted two sensational one-handers to dismiss Ollie Pope and Jack Leach in England’s first innings wherein the second Innings he was seen showing his fiercely unseen stumping skills as he inflicted two fine stumpings to dismiss Moeen Ali and Dan Lawrence.

In between all this, Rishabh Pant was seen kicking the cricket ball during the 2nd session of the 4th Day whilst Stuart Broad was batting. It happened when Kuldeep Yadav was into another spell where he bowled a short of good length delivery to which Broad played off the back foot, the spin of the ball resulted in the ball heading towards gully after passing off his bat.

Rohit Sharma standing at gully threw the ball straight at the stumps looking for a quick run out to which Rishabh Pant instead of collecting the ball with his gloves, kicked the ball leaving the Indian skipper Virat Kohli in extreme laughter.
