India’s domestic batting legend Wasim Jaffer has shown us in recent times that apart from being a prolific run-scorer in India’s domestic competitions, he is also great with memes on the internet. As we witnessed throughout the IPL, how Jaffer would find a meme for every situation.

Even during the India vs Australia series, Jaffer has been highly active on the social media posting meme for every event taking place in the series. Jaffer’s choice of a meme has been so relevant that he’s now become more popular for his meme than his views on the game on social media.

I’m not the batting coach – Wasim Jaffer

Recently when the Indian side lost to the home side Australia after getting bottled up for a mere 36 in the second innings. Wasim Jaffer had posted a meme from the very famous ‘The Office’ series which said, “This is the worst, this is the worst. I hate looking at my timeline. I wanna smash it”.

To which an Indian fan replied when the Indian batting coach is busy making memes, what can be expected of the batsman in the Indian side. Wasim Jaffer decided to reply back to the particular user since Jaffer is not associated with the Indian side on any level at the moment.

He replied back saying, “I’m not the batting coach Mohit.”

As we all are aware the batting coach of the Indian team is Vikram Rathour, who himself has been a prolific run-getter for the Punjab Ranji Side. He replaced former India player Sanjay Bangar last year post the completion of the 2019 World Cup in England.

With Mohammed Shami ruled out of the Test series, India are in all spots of bother as they are now left with RCB’s pace duo Mohammed Siraj and Navdeep Saini in the setup in addition to Umesh Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah. The Indian management has an option to add the likes of T Natarajan and Kartik Tyagi to the squad as they’re part of the Indian unit as net bowlers.
