The inaugural Mumbai T20 league is all set to commence on March 11. Probability sports private limited and wizcraft will be organizing the tournament that will span for 10 days till March 21. The approval from MCA has been obtained and the organizers are in a full swing to make this tournament a hit.

Six teams to participate

The inaugural edition will feature six teams. Probability sports invites bids from the interested parties to participate in the T20 league.

In a press release, Kadar Makhai, the CEO of probability sports said “We are extremely confident that this league will provide immense entertainment to cricket fans in Mumbai. This 11-day league with a spree of exciting matches will be the definitive platform for budding cricket talent and aspiring cricketers from Mumbai”.

The six teams are divided based on different areas and Mumbai. The bids are invited to represent teams from six areas namely, Mumbai North,  North-west, North – East, North – Central, South-Central, and South.

The press release also said that the team owners may bid for the right to operate three different teams and the highest successful will be accepted to operate a single team in the league.

The invitation to bid and the other related documents to enroll in the league will be available from the MCA office from February 17.

All the necessary documents should be filled and submitted by February 20.

A boon for youngsters to shine

It is known that TNPL and KPL  already received accolades from the Indian cricket fans. Players like N Jagadeesan, T Natrajan bagged IPL contracts also. Hopefully, Mumbai T20 league will be a boon for the regional players to make an impact and announce their arrival in style.
