West Indies announce squad for World T20 2016, big names are back: West Indies Cricket Board have named a 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC event, the World T20 to be held in India this March. Darren Sammy will lead the side.

Swashbuckling batsman Chris Gayle, who was trending few days back for all sorts of controversial reasons have been included in the squad. The squad also includes Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo who were controversially axed from the national team after a dispute with the board.

Off-spinner Sunil Narine has also been included, despite being suspended from bowling in international cricket because of an illegal action. Samuel Badree will join him as the second spinner.

The team will be hard to keep out as 11 players from the squad were part of World T20 winning team in 2012, who beat Sri Lanka in their home turf. All T20 stars having played across the world will join hands to form a formidable outfit.

West Indies will open the tournament against England on March 16 and then will face South Africa and Sri Lanka in league stage. Before that West Indies are scheduled to play two warm-up matches in Kolkata against India and Australia on March 10 and March 13 respectively
