5 Indian cricketers to watch out for during Ind-Zim series

It was of no surprise that the selectors chose to rest the regulars for this series. Meanwhile, a few youngsters might as well make their debut for India while the other young guns are going to get a longer run to prove themselves. Here is a look of few of then who might be most effective:

1. Manish Pandey

Manish didn”t quite have the IPL he would have wanted to. He wasn”t able to contribute to KKR much with his batting but he might feel lucky for himself since he has got another opportunity to make it big in the higher level. His ability to shift gears and play in accordance to the scenario has got him so many runs. He”d be hoping for better luck.

   2. Dhawal Kulkarni

Dhawal Kulkarni has been a part of Indian cricketing scenes since almost a decade. However, he hardly has any international experience. His contribution had been ignored many a time by the selectors. But, here is probably one of his final chances to make something of his career. Can we witness, more bold or rather a different Kulkarni this time around?

3. Yuzvendra Chahal

You read it right, the RCB star finally gets a go in the highest standard and he deserves it. After successive top performances throughout the IPL and fairly in domestic cricket, the little man has made it. His leg spinners have taken away batsmen”s moxie! Can he repeat the tricks against the witty Zimbabweans? Lets wait and watch.

   4. Rishi Dhawan

Rishi Dhawan did make some fair contributions the last time he played for India, lately. However, he still didn”t live up to his expectations. That”s why the selectors have gambled on the KXIP all-rounder once more! He played a critical role for KXIP in the 2014 IPL when they got the final. His performance this season wasn”t the most impressive. Well, you can”t blame him, it”s a team game after all.

5. Axar Patel

Axar”s story doesn”t differ much from Rishi”s, the only difference being Axar has played quite a bit for India now. Due to lack of fitness and dip in form, Axar was rested and had been rested ever since the World cup. Well, he is back now and its time for him to showcase his ” stuff ” realtime. Ravindra Jadeja, who has been in and out lately might just become His competitor.
