Rahane played its last One-day international match for India against South Africa on 16th February 2018 at Centurion. With India struggling for number 4 spot in World Cup 2019, he could be selected for the West Indies.Ā

During the last tour of West Indies in 2017, Rahane was the leading run-getter with 336 runs from 5 matches with 1 century and 3 half-centuries. This will provide solidity at number 4 spot for which the Indian team has been struggling for a while.
