In 2013 he surprised everyone with his tweet which involved an interesting calculation relating to Milk delivery in his hometown.

He tweeted, “In Ranchi, if the milkman delivers milk to ur house, he charges 32 rs, but if u go and pick it from his place, he asks for 34 rs”.

Dhoni was trying to paint a picture that Milkman in Ranchi charge more when someone tries to buy Milk from the store. This witty tweet is still talked by all his fans as Dhoni in his style trolled all Milkman of his city.


2. Predicting Rohit will Score 250 Runs

Rohit was batting like a dream during an ODI match against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens. By then he had already scored his maiden double hundred against Australia. Dhoni was rested for the series and like everyone was glued to the television and was watching Rohit’s mastery.

During the innings, he tweeted, “If Rohit doesn’t get out, he will certainly get 250 today”.

 

Rohit answered his captain’s call in style and did just that by registering the highest individual ODI score. The Indian opener made 264 runs and Dhoni’s prediction became true.

3. Communicating With Sakshi Dhoni On Twitter

The world is driven by social media and families now prefer to interact on social media rather than personally. A true example of this was when Dhoni communicated with his wife Sakshi on twitter.

Dhoni in 2011 tweeted, “Me and my wife in the same room but communicating via Twitter”.

5. The Birth of SIR Ravindra Jadeja

The bonding of Jadeja and Dhoni is well known. Dhoni since the beginning of Jadeja’s career has always found the way to pull his leg. During a tense clash with RCB in IPL 2013 CSK needed 2 runs to win off 1 ball. Jadeja was caught off the last ball but CSK won as it was a no-ball.

After the win, Dhoni wrote, “When you give Sir Ravindra Jadeja one ball to get two runs, he will win it with one ball to spare !!”

6. Comparing Virender Sehwag with Viv Richards

Virender Sehwag was a one of a king incredible batsman that played Test like an ODI match. He scored more than 8k runs at an SR of 83 for a decade. When in 2015 Sehwag decided to hang his boots Dhoni put Sehwag in the same bracket as the great West Indies batsman Viv Richards.

“Didn’t see Viv Richards bat in person but I can proudly say I have witnessed Virender Sehwag tearing apart the best bowling attacks”, was MSD’s tweet.

 

Richards and Sehwag are both well known for their destructive batting. The two were a carbon copy of each other for the way they batted and provided sheer entertainment to millions all around the world.


7. Taking a Dig at the India Commentators

MS Dhoni is a huge Amitabh Bachchan fan and is one of the few people that he follows on social media platforms.

In 2016 Amitabh had tweeted, “With all due respects, it would be really worthy of an Indian commentator to speak more about our players than others all the time”.

 

The Bollywood Megastar clearly wished that Indian player shall be given more importance by the Indian commentators. Dhoni responded to his tweet and commented, “Nothing to add,” and agreed with the legendary actor.
