Racism is a reality in the Indian society even in the twentieth century and people have been subjected to mob lynching on the basis of their skin color. Indian Test cricketer, Abhinav Mukund expressed his views on Twitter on this color bias and appealed everyone to be comfortable in their own skin.
Mukund posted a long message with a hope to bring a change in the mindset of the people so that people are not discriminated on the basis of their skin color. He also mentioned that this post was not meant to gain sympathy.

He also mentioned that he wanted to pen down his views on this issue from a long time and now he felt that this is the perfect time to express this. He doesn’t want this message to turn into a political statement rather he will be delighted if this message brings a change.
Guys please don't turn this into something else,it has absolutely no connection to anyone in the team. It is mainly targeted at people 1/2

Mukund also admitted that it has no connection with his teammates and it was targeted at those people who made deprecatory comments about his skin tone.
Who have been posting abuses about colour and saying absolutely derogatory things about the tone of my skin. That s all !
