Star batsman Abhishek Sharma got a motivational tattoo on his hand following India’s T20I series against Australia. The Men in Blue recently clinched the five-match T20I series Down Under, winning 2-1. After the series, Sharma got inked on his right wrist with an inspiring phrase. He was spotted wearing a full-sleeve white shirt, black trousers, and white shoes while getting the tattoo.
The tattoo read: “IT WILL HAPPEN.”

The star batsman also shared the post on his Instagram story. He is set to play next in India’s upcoming home T20I series against South Africa, with the five-match series starting on Tuesday, December 9.

Abhishek Sharma delivered a remarkable performance in Australia, playing a key role in India’s T20I series triumph. He finished as the series’ top scorer, accumulating 163 runs in five matches at an average of 40.75 and a strike rate of 161.38, including a half-century.
The first and fifth matches of the series were abandoned due to rain. In the final T20I, before the game was called off, Abhishek remained unbeaten on 23 off 13 balls, hitting a four and a six at a strike rate of 176.92. His explosive batting earned him the Player of the Series award.
This marked his second consecutive Player of the Series accolade, following the Asia Cup 2025, where he scored 314 runs in seven matches at an average of 44.85 and a strike rate of 200. The 25-year-old left-hander has been a consistent performer for India in T20Is since making his debut in 2024 against Zimbabwe.
To date, he has played 29 matches, scoring 1,012 runs at an average of 37.48 and a strike rate of 189.51, including two centuries and six half-centuries. Abhishek will look to continue his stellar form in India’s upcoming T20I series against South Africa.
