Sachin Tendulkar from a very young age has been a huge Tennis fan. Also much like many other cricketers, he has also been an admirer of tennis maestro Roger Federer. The 20-time grand slam champion is often at the top of every cricketer’s favourite sportsperson list. Tendulkar has often gone to Wimbledon to see Federer play at the centre court and took the best seat in the Royal box.

The Little master posted a short clip of himself playing Tennis. Much like his cricketing shots during his career, Sachin Tendulkar was seen playing a majestic forehand. The tennis shot which nobody plays better than Roger Federer.

In the caption of the video, Tendulkar tagged the 8-time Wimbledon champion and asked him for tips regarding his forehand.

“Hey @rogerfederer! Any tips for my forehand?, tweeted Sachin Tendulkar.

This is not the first time when the two legendary players have had a friendly chat with each other on social media. In 2018 a video of Roger Federer playing the textbook forward defence that caught the eye of Sachin Tendulkar.

“As always, great hand-eye coordination. @rogerfederer, let’s exchange notes on cricket and tennis after you win your 9th @Wimbledon title,” Tendulkar had tweeted.

Federer was quick to reply and tweeted back, “why wait? I’m ready to take notes! @sachin_rt”.

Several Indian players have never missed an opportunity to see Federer play at Grand slams. Indian captain Virat Kohli too is a die-hard Federer fan and met him for the first time during Australian open in 2017. Last year again at the Wimbledon championships during the cricket World Cup, Kohli took some time off and went to meet Federer along with his wife Anushka Sharma.
