The most expensive player in the Mumbai T20 league season 2, Arjun Tendulkar was impressive in T20 debut playing for Aakash Tigers in opening match of the tournament played at Wankedhe Stadium, Mumbai on Tuesday.
Arjun Tendulkar gave away 21 runs in 3 overs and took 1 wicket. It was a good bowling performance by Aakash Tigers as they restricted Knight Triumphs to a modest total of 147 for 6 in 20 overs. Chasing the target of 148 runs to win, coming to bat at number 3, Arjun scored 23 off 19 balls with 1 four and 1 six. It was an impressive debut by Arjun who looked solid with his batting.
While bowling, Arjun Tendulkar was given the second over of game by the captain. In last week’s auction, he was the highest picked player by Aakash Tigers for RS 5 Lakhs.

This is the second edition of the Mumbai T20 league tournament. The league was formed by the Mumbai Cricket Association in 2018.

The defending Champions Triumph Knights Mumbai North East retained Surya Kumar Yadav and medium Akash Patkar.
Shivaji Park Lions have retained hard-hitting all-rounder Shivam Dube and Siddhesh Lad. Apart from that Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer, Jay Bista will play for the respective franchises that they played last year.
