Released by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) despite leading them to an IPL title, Iyer proved his mettle with a blazing 130* off just 57 balls. His innings included 11 fours and 10 sixes, propelling Mumbai to an imposing total of 250/4. Iyer’s knock, which came at a staggering strike rate of 228.07, underscores his excellent form in domestic cricket and positions him as one of the top picks in the IPL 2025 auction. Placed in Marquee Set 1, Iyer is likely to command a lucrative contract as he looks to make a comeback in the IPL.
