All-Round Arjun Tendulkar Warms Up Ahead Of IPL 2021 Auction

The young all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar has warmed up well with an all-round performance with only a couple of days to go for the IPL 2021 auction. Incidentally, Arjun has registered himself for the auction with a base price of ₹20 lakhs which is scheduled to take place in Chennai on February 18.

After missing out from Mumbai’s Vijay Hazare Trophy squad, Arjun Tendulkar was seen plying his trade in the 73rd Police Invitation Shield Cricket tournament. And the youngster has already set the tournament on fire with a whirlwind knock.

As per reports in PTI, Arjun smacked 77 runs off just 31 deliveries before returning with three wickets as MIG Cricket Ground recorded a massive win by 194 runs. Arjun Tendulkar grabbed the headlines smashing five sixes in an over bowled by off-spinner Hashir Dafedar. In total, Arjun’s knock included 8 sixes and five fours, the report adds.

Meanwhile, this all-round effort will certainly give Arjun Tendulkar in the IPL 2021 auction which is due in a couple of day’s time. Arjun, who recently made his T20 debut for Mumbai, didn’t have a memorable outing and only managed two wickets in as many matches in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Son of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun is expected to draw a couple of bids when his name comes out of the hat on the auction day. Defending champions Mumbai Indians will be one of the frontrunners to sign the all-rounder.

Incidentally, Arjun Tendulkar has been a part of the Mumbai Indians net bowlers group for a couple of seasons now. He was also a part of the group that travelled to the UAE for IPL 2020 and was seen sweating out in the nets as a practice bowler.
