Delhi Capitals batter Ashutosh Sharma finished the match in emphatic fashion, sealing a five-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2026 clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, May 17.
Chasing a tricky target, DC needed seven runs from the final over when Ashutosh took charge against Adam Milne, striking a boundary off the first ball before launching the next delivery for a six to complete the chase with four balls remaining.

KL Rahul & Abishek Porel Fifties Power Delhi Capitals Past Rajasthan Royals
Half-centuries from KL Rahul and Abishek Porel powered Delhi Capitals to a crucial win over Rajasthan Royals, keeping their IPL 2026 playoff hopes alive. Rahul struck 56 off 42 balls, hitting three sixes and a boundary, while Porel added a fluent 51 from 31 deliveries.
The pair built a strong 105-run opening stand, while skipper Axar Patel stayed unbeaten on 34 off 18 balls. For RR, Jofra Archer and Birjesh Sharma claimed two wickets each. Earlier, RR posted 193/8 after being put in to bat.
Dhruv Jurel top-scored with 53 off 40 balls, while captain Riyan Parag contributed a rapid 51 off 26 deliveries. Youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi impressed with a quick 46 off 21 balls.
