When An Auto-Rickshaw Driver Helped Sachin Tendulkar To Find The Route To His House In Mumbai

Sachin Tendulkar

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar recently uploaded a throwback video on LinkedIn where he was seen taking help from an auto-rickshaw driver after he apparently lost his way on the Mumbai highway. The video was shot earlier this year in January when Sachin was driving around Kandivali in Mumbai when he realised he has lost his way.

The Navigation applications on Sachin’s phone weren’t helping him out of trouble, that is when he decided to take help from an autorickshaw driver who quite graciously asked the master blaster to follow him as he said ‘Mala follow kara’ to Sachin in Marathi which means ‘follow me’ as he leads him to the right route on the highway.

The rickshaw driver not only voluntarily decided to help Sachin but also travelled further two kilometres so he doesn’t face any difficulty finding his way home. As Sachin Tendulkar followed the rickshaw driver through a rigorous route, the highest run-getter further said how he would’ve never found the route on his own if the rickshaw driver hadn’t voluntarily walked up to help him.

Steve Smith Is Always Ready For Short Pitched Stuff  – Sachin Tendulkar

Meanwhile, India’s tour of Australia is just a few days from kickoff that is when Sachin Tendulkar who has had quite a bit of history facing the Australians in various battles has advised the Indian bowlers on how to dismiss Australia’s star batsman Steven Smith.

“Smith’s technique is unconventional. Normally, we tell a bowler in Test matches to bowl on and around off stump or maybe a fourth-stump line. But for Smith, because he shuffles, maybe that line moves further away [from off stump] by four to five inches.

One has to aim between [an imaginary] fourth and fifth stump for Steve to nick one. It’s just a mental adjustment of line, more than anything else,” Sachin Tendulkar told PTI.
