THEY'VE DONE IT! ENGLAND HAVE WON THE FIRST TEST IN HYDERABAD! 🏴
Undoubtedly one of their finest ever away Test victories, and a quite remarkable turnaround after the first two days.#INDvENG pic.twitter.com/nIr0ieHOYt

England showcased exceptional cricket to secure the win. Ollie Pope's triumph on Indian soil will echo for years. “I won’t complain even if the pitch turn from ball 1” this attitude made him dangerous. #INDvENG

England winning in India with this bowling attack in India should be the biggest Test upset of 2024. Brilliantly it isn’t even the biggest upset today.

It’s the first time in the history of Test cricket in India that a visiting team has gone on to win the Test after conceding a lead of over 100 runs. Tells you the magnitude of this achievement by England 🙌 #IndvEng

To lose after getting 190-run lead is a debacle. India outbatted, outbowled, outfielded, tactically outsmarted and showed less character, grit and ambition than England. Stokes leads a hardy, skilful team. No pushovers. Rohit&Co must regroup swiftly to come back in the series

Our greatest triumph: Ben Stokes
England skipper Ben Stokes is delighted with their win over India in the first Test at Hyderabad. He expressed that they have achieved several brilliant wins under his leadership, however, the recent win against India is their greatest triumph. Speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony, Ben Stokes said,
“Since I have taken the captaincy on, we have had a lot of fantastic moments as a team. We’ve got a lot of great victories, we’ve been part of some amazing games. Where we are and who were playing against, this victory is probably, 100% definitely, our greatest triumph.”
