Hobart Hurricanes’ all-rounder Nikhil Chaudhary gained attention with a massive six in the Big Bash League (BBL) 2023-24 match against Brisbane Heat at the Brisbane Cricket Ground on January 7.

Batting at No. 6, the 27-year-old aggressive player hit four fours and two sixes in his rapid innings of 55 off 38 balls. Despite his efforts, Hobart Hurricanes suffered a one-run defeat (DLS method) while chasing a revised target of 118 in 16 overs.

Although Chaudhary’s impressive batting couldn’t secure a victory for his team, his massive six in the match stood out as one of the game’s highlights.

Facing adversity at 25/4 in the chase, Chaudhary confidently advanced down the crease in the fifth over, sending pacer Michael Neser’s delivery for a colossal six that travelled 97 meters over long-on.
