BCCI Announces Hike; Full details here

The richest cricket organization in the world cricket delighted its selectors, scorers and video analysts by announcing considerable hikes.

Saba Karim, the General Manager of the Cricket operations wing along with his team has come up with this decision and CoA ( appointed by the Supreme Court) also felt that the employees should be rewarded. MSK Prasad, the chief selector will now receive close to one crore per annum while his deputies will receive up to 80 lakhs.

BCCI also increased the salaries of the domestic umpires by 100% after a gap of six years. Now the umpires will be earning 40,000 per day for a first-class match, three days or a 50 over the game. For T20 games, the remuneration will be 20,000. It is to be noted that BCCI hired over 105 umpires since 2012 and this hike will really rejoice them.

The salaries have been doubled for the scorers, video analysts and match referees in respective formats. The scorer will now receive 10,000 rupees per match day while the video analysts will get 15,000.

It is to be noted that the player contracts and their grades were announced a couple of months ago. BCCI is now waiting for the official announcement from the Government of India regarding the series against Pakistan.
