The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the revised squad for the upcoming tour of Australia. The tour contains three ODIs and T20Is each followed by four-match Test series as a part of the Border-Gavaskar series.
Meanwhile, as stated earlier, Virat Kohli will miss the last three Test matches of the tour as he and Anushka Sharma are expecting the birth of their first child. It will be a massive miss for Team India considering his prowess against the Australian team. He will return to India after playing the first matches while Ajinkya Rahane will take over the leadership duties.
BCCI includes Rohit Sharma in Test squad
In a major development, Rohit Sharma has been added to the Tests squad. The BCCI Medical Team has monitored Rohit Sharma’s fitness and it has been decided to rest him for the limited-overs series. Previously, the star batsman was left out all the squads which garnered a countrywide debate.
