India beat Australia in the ICC U19 Final to grab their 4th title, most by any team in the world. Prithvi Shaw and his men showcased a commendable performance in the field and won all the six matches in the tournament to come out in flying colors. Manjot Kalra scored a century in the final and played a vital role in India”s win.
BCCI reward
The announcement was made by the Supreme Court appointed Committee of Administrators (COA) right after the match. Vinodh Rai, the chairman of the committee congratulated the players, coach and the support staff. He mentioned “I congratulate the U19 team who have made the country proud. Dravid played his cricket with sincerity and it was pleasing to see the boys uphold the value”. Rai also wished to see the little stars in the senior team by keeping up their hard work.
The BCCI announced the reward for the players and the support staff. The rewards are as follows.
Rs 50 lakh for Rahul Dravid – The Coach
Rs 30 lakh for every player in the team
Rs 20 lakh for the support staff

IPL contracts
The Under 19 players have already grabbed the IPL contracts and are expected to deliver scintillating performances. Prithvi Shaw will be mentored by Ricky Ponting and this will be a chance for the boys to groom from the legends across the world. Mavi and Nagarkoti will be a part of KKR bowling line-up which is expected to be lead by Mitchell starc.
