Selectors keen to give chance to youngsters on West Indies tour

Team India is likely to rest Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli for the tour of West Indies. In their absence, the young blood of Indian cricket will get a chance to prove their mettle. The likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Mukesh Kumar, and Rajat Patidar are likely to get an opportunity on the tour.

Team India last toured West Indies for all formats in 2019. They emerged as winners in all three formats. The upcoming test series against West Indies will mark the beginning of India’s campaign in the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle. They will be keen to kick off the tour on a winning note.
