India women are now out of the contention for the trophy in the T20I triseries against Australia and England. India lost to Australia women by 36 runs in the fourth match of the T20I series today.
Meanwhile, the All – India women”s Committee has named the squad for the ODI series against England. Frontline pacer Jhulan Goswami who missed the previous ODI series against Australia women has been added to the squad.
The paytm ODI series against England will commence on 6th April comprising three matches. All the matches will be played at Nagpur including the practice match.
England women will also play a practice match against India women A prior to the ODI series.It will be really interesting to watch India women”s” approach to the series as they were hammered by England in the ongoing triseries.
It is to be noted that these series are a part of ICC World Championship and the winning team receives two points each. The top 4 of the eight nations will earn a direct qualification for the next edition of ICC CWC 2021 at NZ.
