All India women”s selection committee has announced the squad for upcoming Women”s World T20 in November. This edition of the tournament takes place at the Caribbean islands and it will be the first major international assignment for Ramesh Powar as a full-time coach for the side.
A 15-member squad under the leadership of Harmanpreet with Mandhana as her deputy has been released. Jemmiah Rodrigues, the star of the recently concluded series against Srilanka received her call-up. The squad comprised of all the star performers who gave their best over the past season.

However, Jhulan Goswami isn”t a part of the side as she decided to quit the shortest format some time ago. This brings additional responsibility to Pooja Vastrakar and her mates to fill the shoes of the former.
